Found January 12, 2013 on FootBasket:
On Friday night, it was reported that Rob Ryan had agreed to become the next defensive coordinator of the St. Louis Rams. On Saturday, Ryan has shot down that report as false, according to Pro Football Talk. ”I’m on a beach and have talked to nobody and have no comment,” he said. Ryan, who boasted after his firing from the Dallas Cowboys that he would be unemployed in five minutes, is still unemployed and now a few days later for now. Most reports are saying that Ryan going to the Rams was a bit premature, but that he is the front-runner for the job that Jeff Fisher has open. But for right now, he just needs to get out of the ocean water.

NFL Rumors: Report suggests Rob Ryan to the St. Louis Rams

The Dallas Cowboys fired defensive coordinator Rob Ryan earlier this week. Ryan told reporters that he would be unemployed for about five minutes before landing another job in the NFL. Several rumors suggested that Ryan would join his brother Rex in New York with the Jets in need of a defensive coordinator, but that reunion is likely not to happen now. Reports are suggesting this...

Will Monte Kiffin be the next Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator?

First things first, if this actually happens, I will be livid. Monte Kiffin is 72 years old and hasn’t been in the league since 2008. In the interim, he led mediocre defenses at the NCAA level for Tennessee and USC. I just don’t get it. The Cowboys have several incredibly viable options to look at: [...] Related posts: The Dallas Cowboys Select… The Cowboys Are Killing Me...

NBCSports.com is reporting that the St Louis Rams have hired Rob Ryan as their new defensive coordinator. Ryan was let go by the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday, and although he wasn’t exactly hired in ‘five minutes’ he was scooped up pretty quickly. Last season the Rams were sans their defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams, because he was barred from participating in the season...

Rob Ryan reportedly close to deal with Rams

It looks like New York is only big enough for one of the Ryan twins after multiple reports Friday said  that Rob Ryan was nearing a deal with the St. Louis Rams as their defensive coordinator. Rob Ryan was the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator until he was fired Tuesday.  Ryan's dismissal, along with the New York Jets canning of defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and linebackers...

According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Ryan has been hired as the defensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams. Report: Rams have hired Rob Ryan

Earlier wr mentioned that Rob Ryan could end up with his brother Rex in New York.  Well that isn’t going to happen. It certainly took longer than the five minutes that Ryan predicted, but he has a new job nonetheless. The Rams have been running a 4-3 base defense...

St. Louis Rams: Rob Ryan would not be a good fit in St. Louis

The St. Louis Rams are looking for a new defensive coordinator now that Gregg Williams, who remains suspended because of his involvement in the New Orleans Saints bounty gate, likely will never wear the headset in St. Louis. Rob Ryan, twin brother of New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan, was recently fired by the Dallas Cowboys and is looking for a new gig. Ryan is one of the best...

Kiffin has credentials, will Jerry have patience?

After recently turning 70, perhaps Jerry Jones was sick of being the oldest guy at Valley Ranch. Enter the soon-to-be 73-year-old Monte Kiffin, who will replace Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator. It's the sort of move that would bother Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy, who apparently didn't retain 66-year-old defensive coordinator Bill Young because his advanced age was scaring...

From a Jack to a King: Dallas Cowboys hire Monte Kiffin to replace Rob Ryan

Rob Ryan is a defensive genius. If you don’t believe me, just ask him: “I inherited a team that was 31st in the league in defense and made them better,” Ryan told ESPNDallas.com’s Tim MacMahon. “I (expletive) made them a hell of a lot better. I’ll be out of work for like five minutes.” Ryan, true to his genetic predisposition, was always one to over-promise and under...

Jerry Jones Rolling The Coaching Dice In Dallas

Dallas Cowboys fans should be rejoicing right now. Why?Jerry Jones has upheld one of his promises.Where's that victory parade bunting circa 1995?Seriously though, when GM/Owner Jones stated last week that changes would be made in a bid to fix up the ailing Cowboys, many thought that the changes would not be the ones expected. On Monday, to back this theory up, he fired running...
