Blog So Hard Sports:
Will RGIII be healthy enough to play on Sunday? This is certainly an encouraging sign for the Redskins faithful! According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Robert Griffin III was on the field and taking part in warmups at today’s practice session: Griffin did some quick-step warmup jogs and flashed his teammates a thumbs-up, but did have a slight limp while he walked. He also did well on lateral shuffle drills and squats. But it’s not clear how much of the practice he will participate in. This by no means indicates that Griffin will be out there when the Redskins kickoff against the Brown at 1:00 on Sunday, but it does gives fans some hope. I believe if RG3 is limited at all, they Skins should not role the dice with him and let him rest an additional week to be ready for Eagles the following week. So while I would exercise caution with the rookie QB, by all means if he is able to practice and is showing no signs of a lingering injury, go ahead and let him play. Whether or not he ramps up more activity in practice sessions later in the week remains to be seen, but just hearing that he is out there participating in warm ups and individual drills is a great sign. ESPN has come out and admitted that Rob Parker’s comments on First Take were inappropriate. An ESPN spokesman released the following statement: “The comments were inappropriate and we are evaluating our next steps.” In my opinion ESPN needs to fire Parker for all the racial ignorance that he let come out of his mouth. But I’m sure they’ll just give him a slap on the wrist...
Washington QB Robert Griffin III is participating in Thursday’s practice, according to Mike Jones.
Griffin reportedly was “a little more aggressive” planting on his injured knee, which obviously a great sign for Week 15 status.
Last night, Griffin mentioned that he feels “really good” about playing on Sunday.
“If I can give the team the best chance to win, then...
Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III participated in the portion of practice that the media is allowed to see, per Chris Russell of ESPN 980 in Washington D.C.
In the very limited portion of practice that media is allowed to see, Griffin did full stretching exercises including running in a straight line, a sideways shuttle (lateral) drill that would essentially be the...
Robert Griffin III's knee is looking better.
The Washington Redskins rookie was back at practice Thursday, dealing with the effects of a sprained right knee as the team prepares for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.
Griffin stretched and made some basic throws during the 20 minutes that the practice was open to reporters. He was still favoring his right leg somewhat...
Earlier today, ESPN’s Rob Parker made some of the most ignorant comments anyone could make during an appearance on Thursday’s First Take.
Parker took things way too far when he questioned whether or not Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is “down for the cause” as a black man.
“I want to find about him,” Parker said. “I don’t know because I keep hearing these...
It’s an attitude that has no place in 2012 but that didn’t stop ESPN talking head Rob Parker from blathering on about it on First Take today. To hold the seemingly antiquated opinion that Robert Griffin may not be sufficiently black is one thing, but to announce it on national TV is foolish, reprehensible and cruel...
Robert Griffin II told USA Today Sports that his son, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is just fine and that he told him that he’s going to play this week against the Browns.
“He’s doing great,” Robert Griffin II told USA TODAY Sports. “He definitely said he plans to start. I haven’t seen him (the last two days). But he told me (today) everything has...
Robert Griffin III is 3 for 3 taking part in practice this week
on his sprained right knee.
I watched ESPN First Take this morning.
I heard what Rob Parker said in regards to Robert Griffin III, but i did not let it marinate because I have heard him articulate himself in controversial ways on previous occasions.
Fast forward through the day, and Rob Parker still has sports chat across the nation buzzing.
Let me try and lay it out a little. Wednesday, RG3...
ESPN TV-personality, Rob Parker, was suspended today by the network for his insensitive and disparaging racial remarks in regards to Washington Redskins rookie quarterback, Robert Griffin III. Just in case you missed it, here is what Parker said about RGIII “Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother? … He’s not real. OK, [...]
Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III looked better practicing on his sprained knee Thursday but offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan still believes he'll be a game-time decision.Fantasy Spin:We still believe Griffin will play against Cleveland this week but it wouldn't hurt to have a backup plan in place just in case he tweaks something between now and Sunday.
By making some incredibly insensitive and idiotic comments about Robert Griffin III on Thursday, ESPN’s Rob Parker has created the buzz he was looking for. As you have probably heard, Parker questioned RG3′s blackness while pointing out that he is a Republican and has a white fiance, among other things.
After Parker made the comments on “First Take,” a Twitter user decided...
Cleveland head coach Pat Shurmur says his team is as ready to face Robert Griffin III as they’ve been all season-
“I think we’re as good as we’ve been to this point in the season. I think that’s fair to say. We’ve got our defensive tackles back. They’ve been playing quite a while now. Dimitri Patterson is back as the nickel player. He has a game under his belt after...
