Will RGIII be healthy enough to play on Sunday?   This is certainly an encouraging sign for the Redskins faithful! According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Robert Griffin III was on the field and taking part in warmups at today’s practice session: Griffin did some quick-step warmup jogs and flashed his teammates a thumbs-up, but did have a slight limp while he walked. He also did well on lateral shuffle drills and squats. But it’s not clear how much of the practice he will participate in. This by no means indicates that Griffin will be out there when the Redskins kickoff against the Brown at 1:00 on Sunday, but it does gives fans some hope. I believe if RG3 is limited at all, they Skins should not role the dice with him and let him rest an additional week to be ready for Eagles the following week. So while I would exercise caution with the rookie QB, by all means if he is able to practice and is showing no signs of a lingering injury, go ahead and let him play. Whether or not he ramps up more activity in practice sessions later in the week remains to be seen, but just hearing that he is out there participating in warm ups and individual drills is a great sign.
