GREEN BAY, Wis. -- In Tuesday's weekly meeting with the media, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers talked about an improving offense, the team's Transformer-like running back and much more. Five question-and-answer highlights: 1. Does playoff experience help? RODGERS: I think a little bit. It helps you with the week of preparation and knowing what to expect during a week like this. Single-elimination, there's 12 teams still playing. We have a chance to move on to the final eight. That's our approach. We have a home game, which is our first goal when we start the season. We can take the first step with a win this week. 2. Were you encouraged at all after watching the film from the loss to the Vikings? RODGERS: I saw a lot of production. We put up a good amount of points and moved the ball real well, especially our last seven drives. We put the ball in their territory, scored four times out of four in the red zone. We have to do a better job starting the game, but I think we can move the ball on them. We just have to take care of the football. 3. Do you think the offense is playing its best of the season, or at least knocking on the door of that? RODGERS: Yeah, I think so. We're pretty efficient on Sunday. DuJuan (Harris) has been running the ball real well, he gives us a nice changeup. Ryan (Grant) the week before against Tennessee ran the ball really hard. He's always ran the ball well in the winter months. It's important to control the line of scrimmage, and when you can have some balance in the offense, that helps. When you get some of your guys back outside and you have the production we've had from the last few weeks from Jermichael (Finley) and Greg (Jennings) and James (Jones), getting Jordy (Nelson) back hopefully, Randall (Cobb) possibly, as well, that can make us a pretty efficient offense. 4. What's impressed you most about DuJuan Harris? RODGERS: I think he's kind of a Transformer; there's more than meets the eye with DuJuan. He's a very tough guy. He's got great athleticism, agility; he makes some great jump cuts. He had a couple really, really good 0- and 1-yard runs in the game that could have been losses for us, and a couple runs where he ran through arm tackles, broke tackles, yards after contact. He's a little guy, but he's tough. Again, another guy we didn't have here at the beginning of the season. A guy on the practice squad, played his butt off, got activated, he's done some nice things for us. You have to give him a lot of credit. He's learned the offense the last few weeks and studied, obviously, and the package for him is just going to continue to grow. 5a. Did you have any flashbacks to Thanksgiving of Lions coach Jim Schwartz's mistake when Mike McCarthy's errant challenge flag hit the field Sunday? RODGERS: Not immediately, no. Later, possibly. 5b. What'd you think of Nelson's attempt to pick up and hide the challenge flag? RODGERS: I didn't see it. I didn't see that. But I saw the replay, and (it was) pretty smart by Jordy.
