The last remaining piece of the Buccaneers' Super Bowl team is hanging up his cleats. Longtime Bucs cornerback/safety Ronde Barber told FOX Sports' Jay Glazer that he's decided to retire after 16 NFL seasons. "I've had a better run than I ever could've dreamed of having," Barber said. Per Glazer, Barber has mulled this decision for "a while," likely taking into account his diminished lack of playing time with new acquisition Dashon Goldson in the fold. A third-round pick in 1997, Barber was the longest-tenured member of the team and helped guide Tampa Bay to a victory in Super Bowl XXXVII. During his career, he earned five Pro Bowl trips, three All-Pro selections, and holds several team and league records, including most consecutive starts (215) and most quarterback sacks by a cornerback.
