NFL Draft Zone:
Another one of our Diamond in the Rough players, Rontez MIles is heading to the New York Jets. Tez is a very aggressive safety, who is hungry to get this opportunity.
“I will be a New York Jet, I thought the outcome would be different (being drafted), but I am super excited to be a Jet. I am looking forward to playing the teams that passed on me.” – Rontez Miles – SS
Rontez was a very smooth safety with a ton of upside. I like Tez a lot because of his aggressive nature. He is a competitor and hates to lose. He will be a great fit for the Jets.
Here is our Diamond in the Rough Article on Tez

NEW YORK'S NOT MY HOME
After one tumultuous season, the Tim Tebow Experiment by the New York Jets has come to an end, with the team releasing the quarterback early on Monday morning.
Rex Ryan consistently promises a return to the ground-and-pound running style that was so effective during the team’s 2009 and 2010 runs to the AFC Championship. We might actually get it in 2013, as the New York Jets have traded for New Orleans Saints running back Chris Ivory.
Chris Ivory the right addition for the Jets?
After taking quarterback Geno Smith and guard Brian Winters...
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, a source told him that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is “probably gone” soon. I know the Jets just might be naive enough to think they can still trade Tebow, but they need to face reality that they won’t be able to and stop wasting his time as well as their own and just get rid of him. The New York Jets signed undrafted safety Rontez Miles. The Jets have a lot of needs and not a lot of great athletes, Miles could be a good player for them this season. He started 43 games and was twice name an FCS All American at California (PA).
While Dee Milliner is the new prize catch, Miles may surprise and stick with the final cuts.

New York's little brother team might have cut less heralded Greg McElroy, Matt Simms, or, um. Mark Sanchez. Instead they excised the most useless outsider in NFL history.
It's a tradition unlike any other: The traditional booing by New York Jets fans of their team's first round NFL Draft draft pick. It happened again Thursday night, as the Jets selected former Alabama cornerback Dee Millner as the ninth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Millner was a good sport and took it in stride.
"I was nervous a little bit," Milliner...

With their two first-round draft choices, Nos. 9 and 13 overall, the New York Jets opted to shore up their defense. At No. 9, they selected Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner to replace Pro Bowl cover man Darrelle Revis, who was dealt to Tampa Bay. At No. 13, the pick...
The New York Jets close out their draft, barring any other moves, by selecting 'Terminator 2.0' Tommy Bohanon.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think this draft was about getting the run game re-started with the Chris Ivory trade, three offensive linemen, and now a fullback. But more on that at another time.
For his career at Wake Forest, Bohanon recorded...
