By Mike McDermottHappy Thanksgiving Ross Ventrone -- you've just been cut again.
The Patriots today announced that they have released the second-year safety, just two days after signing him on the active roster to play against the Kansas City Chiefs. This has become nearly a weekly occurrence for Ventrone, who continually clears waivers and returns to the practice squad. We'll see if that happens again this week.
New England re-signed offensive lineman Donald Thomas, who was cut on Monday to make way for Ventrone, and also added defensive back Josh Victorian to the practice squad.
