Russell Wilson burst on to the NFL scene his rookie season due in part to his phenomenal athletic ability, but believe it or not he says he isn’t even the most athletic person in his family. Believe it or not he gives that title to his 15 year sister Anna. “It’s one of those things where you’re around someone you know is going to be special,” Russell told ESPN earlier this year. Anna starred as both an eighth grader and a freshman and also led her AAU team to the eighth-grade national championship game in 2012, where she dropped 17 assists. She’s considered one of the top prospects in the class of 2016 and has already fielded offer from women’s powers like Maryland.-USAToday It will certainly be exciting to watch Anna if she lives up to Wilson’s expectations, who went as far as comparing her to Candace Parker. WSC Week 3 Power Rankings: Seattle Seahawks rule the roost

Proctologistics With three weeks of the NFL regular season in the books, the one thing that is clear is that nothing is clear. This week was nothing if not entertaining. We had quarterbacks kicking footballs and punters throwing touchdowns. I’ve been having seizures since seeing Tom Brady’s plaid blazer in his postgame presser, so forgive […]The post WSC Week 3 Power Rankings...

Seahawks player profile: The “Slot” receiver…Doug Baldwin

Heeeee’s Back! Little known, Doug Baldwin, is certainly raising eyebrows once again.  Baldwin, who arrived in Seattle in 2011 as an undrafted free agent is starting the 2013 season off absolutely on fire. Success has not been a stranger to Doug, however.  If you’ll remember in his rookie year, Baldwin came into the league undrafted out of Standford and a virtual unknown to...

Can the Lions Continue to Win Without Lulay?

The BC Lions got an impressive performance from rookie Thomas DeMarco last weekend in Regina.  The young quarterback got his first CFL win in his first CFL start, then you have to consider that the game was on the road against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who are a division rival that has the most hostile environment in the league and Lions fans have to feel excited about the...

Clemons back, ready to contribute for Seattle

The workout took place at the Seattle Seahawks' facility and was the same type of testing any would-be free agent looking to join the club would go through. Yet, this wasn't a free agent being examined. It was Chris Clemons undergoing scrutiny to see if the Seahawks' sack leader for the last three seasons would be ready to return from a torn ACL in his left knee early...

Week 4 Endgame: The blueprint for victory – Texans vs. Seahawks

Seahawks go for 4-0 Game in and game out the Seattle Seahawks‘ biggest obstacle will be themselves.  I don’t know what it is about this team, whether it’s over-confidence or Pete Carroll’s preaching about not being able to lose a game in the 1st quarter, but they always start slow. No matter the cause, Sunday the habitual slow start will be compounded by a 10:00 AM Pacific...

Jacksonville Jaguars: 2013 Week 4 NFL Power Rankings (#32)

Last week: 32 Give the Jaguars credit. They almost covered the spread as 19 point underdogs in the first half. And yeah, they drafted a punter over Russell Wilson, but he was used 7 times against the Seahawks, while Russell Wilson was sitting on the bench by the middle of the 3rd quarter. It’s back to Blaine Gabbert this week for the Jaguars, but it won’t matter. The worst thing...
