Add defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley to the list of New Orleans Saints players who have restructured their contracts to create salary-cap space in 2013, according to a league source. Like the other Saints who have reworked their deals this offseason, Bunkley will not take any form of pay cut. He simply converted base salary into signing bonus so that the Saints can spread out the salary-cap hit over the final four years of his contract.
Bunkley had been scheduled to count $4.7 million against the salary cap. According to ESPN, Bunkley's new deal drops his cap number to $2.5 million in 2013.
