Should Colin Kaepernick be ashamed of his tattoos? No
Players View rarely counters the opinion of other writers in our forum because we at the very least respect the platform that they stand on.
They can put on display what they would like and their readers can debate it if they so choose.
This morning I got a text message about David Whitley’s column at AOL/Sporting News.
He decided to pick apart 49ers QB du jour Colin Kaepernick...

Colin Kaepernick given the keys to the Forty Niner car
The 49ers have announced Colin Kaepernick as their Week 13 starter at quarterback. There will be no manufactured drama this week. “Colin, we believe, has the hot hand and we’ll go with Colin,” coach Jim Harbaugh said. It’s the easy — and correct — call for a team that’s far more dynamic on offense with Kaepernick under center. The more film teams have to study, the harder...

The Saints and Falcons tangle in Atlanta tonight. And if the game wasn’t big enough, workers at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport apparently egged the charter bus the Saints used when they arrived in Atlanta Wednesday night.

Smith part of 49ers QB controversy long before Kaepernick

Now healthy, Smith finally spoke up Thursday, a day after head coach Jim Harbaugh named Kaepernick the starter for Sunday's game in St. Louis and, it...
Alex Smith Finally Talks About Demotion, Calls it ‘Tough Pill to Swallow’
Alex Smith is finally talking.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who recently lost his starting job to rookie Colin Kaepernick, had until recently not been speaking about his demotion or role on the team. Until Thursday, that is.
Smith told The Associated Press that he doesn’t necessarily think he deserved to lose his starting spot. Until suffering a concussion in a game against...

Nobody is safe in Goldson/Whitner danger zone
There's a price to pay for those who venture across the middle of the San Francisco 49ers' defense. Dashon Goldson and Donte Whitner are making sure of that, roaming the center of the field with impunity and delivering the kind of pain that’s leaving fear in their wake throughout the NFL.
Writer defends tattoo criticism of QB
Colin Kaepernick's arms are full of tattoos. This, apparently, ensures that the San Francisco 49ers quarterback will never, ever be a legitimate hero for the NFL -- or even the 49ers. It also means that the golden age of "good old boys" under center in the National Football League is just about over.
That's what it may sound like AOL Fanhouse's David Whitley...
