60 Max Power O:
Stinkbowl 2012 is over and done with. The Jets' terrible offense slightly bettered the Jacksonville Jaguars' terrible offense.
No need to bench Mark Sanchez, who went 12/19 with 111 yards (he did lose another fumble) this time around. He was a complete non-factor in the second half as the Jets took the ball out of the maligned QB's hands and reverted to ground and pound with success against the 2-11 Jaguars.
Both Shonn Greene and Bilal Powell ran for short TDs which consisted of the bulk of New York's points, sans a Nick Folk field goal in the 3rd quarter.
Rex Ryan and the 6-7 Jets look to have all the hope in the world that they can run the table with a slim chance at a playoff berth.
Their strength of schedule certainly affords them that, with their last three opponents Tennessee, San Diego and Buffalo.
BEST OF MAXIM

What was hinted at a few weeks ago has been all but confirmed: Tim Tebow is largely unhappy with the Jets.
Following a Week 14 contest in which Tebow received zero snaps, head coach Rex Ryan admitted that the backup quarterback likely is disappointed he came to New York this offseason.

Jets running back Shonn Greene split carries with Bilal Powell Sunday against the Jaguars but there was plenty to go around for both rushers. Greene finished with 77 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.Fantasy Spin:Greene may be the guy nobody wants on their fantasy team but he's on pace for a career-high 1,086 yards rushing.
Are the Jets 6-7 and still alive in the AFC Wildcard race? Yes, if you can believe it. Rex Ryan pulled out some late 2009 magic dust and sprinkled it on Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, after yet another must win over the Jags and an exhausting week playing “Who Is My Quarterback?” The fact that this current roster is in the postseason hunt with three games left is a testimony to someone...
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The New York Jets stayed on the ground and stayed in the playoff hunt.
Shonn Greene and Bilal Powell ran for short touchdowns and the Jets kept their postseason hopes alive with a 17-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

In another ugly game, the Jets maintain their wildcard hopes. Bills lose at home to the Rams. Dolphins fall to the 49ers.
New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez isn't going anywhere in 2013.
Sanchez is due to make $12.8 million for next season. If the Jets were to cut Sanchez it would cost them Click Link below to read more! Tim Tebow
The New York Jets have found themselves in a rather familiar situation throughout the 2012 season. They are making headlines. The Rex Ryan era has been full of promises, successes, disappointments, and turmoil. The last three plus years in New York have been nothing short of a media frenzy, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon. Last Sunday, Rex Ryan chose to...
Will Braylon Edwards make Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum look like idiots or geniuses after claiming him off waivers on Tuesday afternoon?
The Pittsburgh Steelers were dominated by the San Diego Chargers today, but the Bengals, who were tied with the Steelers for the last playoff spot coming into the game, couldn't capitalize, losing to the Cowboys after leading most of the game.
With the losses by the Steelers and the Bengals, the Jets are suddenly right back in the wildcard race, just a game back with three...
The New York Jets (6-7) beat the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-11) 17-10, yesterday afternoon at EverBank Field from Jacksonville, FL.
The Running game wins for the Jets as they kept rushing the football downfield and let Mark Sanchez play as a manageable QB.
It was obvious Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano had no faith in Mark Sanchez so they just kept running the football for most of the game...
It has been far from pretty but the New York Jets have won two games in a row and three of their last four after today’s 17-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Somehow they remain relevant in the AFC Playoff picture for the final wild-card spot, thanks to losses from both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals today.
The Jets have fully embraced their 2009 style of...
