Put Scott Zolak in the camp of Patriots fans not worried about the team’s fortunes this coming Sunday.
The former Patriots quarterback and current radio broadcaster for 98.5 The Sports Hub couldn’t contain his excitement upon watching the Texans earn a rematch with New England in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs.
After an ugly game in which the Texans looked unimpressive despite pulling out a 19-13 victory, Zolak took to Twitter to criticize Houston coach Gary Kubiak and generally mess with Texas.

Zolak is just fanning the flames of Houston discontent at this point, as the Texans will have no shortage of bulletin board material in anticipation of their game against the Patriots. Houston running back Arian Foster posted a Boston Globe column disparaging the Texans as his Twitter avatar on Monday as well.

J.J. Watt Makes Sure His Houston Texans Move On In The NFL Play-Offs
When J.J. Watt takes to the field, he only has one thing on his mind. Winning, Watt is a rare player that only comes along once in a life time. In this life-time the Houston Texans have a player that can make things happen. Watt is almost unstoppable. The guy is all over the line of scrimmage and when he comes after the opposing teams quarterback, there aren’t too many offensive...

This year’s NFL breakout star was most definitely J.J. Watt. The Houston Texans defensive star terrorized NFL offenses with his deadly combination of speed and swat-ability. JJ was recently quoted saying: “I’m just trying to find the right girl. I’ll definitely settle down and start a family. That’s who I am. I’m a Midwestern...
Arian Foster uses Dan Shaughnessy's prediction as motivation
The above is what Texans running back Arian Foster is now using for his Twitter avatar. It is a cut and paste job from the article Dan Shaughnessy of the Boston Globe wrote yesterday in advance of next weekend's AFC playoff game between the Patriots and Texans. Shaughnessy is known for two things: being a troll while offending pretty much everyone, and making grandiose and hyperbolic...

Arian Foster Using Critical Boston Globe Column as Twitter Avatar, Motivation Against Patriots (Photo)
Many NFL pundits aren’t giving the Texans much of a chance in their return trip to New England this weekend, not after stumbling to a 42-14 loss less than a month ago. Texans running back Arian Foster is soaking in all the doubt, though, and using it as motivation for his rematch with the Patriots.
Foster, who is very active on social media, changed his Twitter avatar to a photo...
Texans Down Bengals, 19-13: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
THE GOOD: Houston's OffenseThe Texans scored just one touchdown in Saturday's game, but scored on five different possessions. That tells us that Houston moved the ball consistently all day, and stuck to its game plan: giving the ball to #23. Arian Foster ran for 140 yards on 32 carries, and scored the only offensive touchdown in the game. He also added eight grabs for...
Arian Foster Responds To Boston Columnist Ripping “Terrible Texans”
After beating the Bengals 19-13 to open wildcard weekend for the second straight year, the Houston Texans (13-4) head into the divisional round as pretty heavy underdogs to the New England Patriots (12-4).
Though head coach Bill Belichick is inevitably sending a message that the 42-14 win in Week 14 means nothing now, Dan Shaughnessy has a different outlook in his column in the...

Vote: Which Texans Player Should the Patriots Be Most Concerned About Stopping?
After a bye week off, the Patriots now know who their divisional round opponent is — and they should seem pretty familiar.
It wasn’t all that lone ago (just under a month, in fact) that the Houston Texans traveled to Gillette Stadium for what was billed as a heavyweight matchup between two Super Bowl contenders. The end result didn’t nearly match the hype, as Tom Brady and...
Preview: Patriots vs. Texans
On Sunday, the Patriots will take on the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round. As we all know, the Patriots manhandled the Texans in week 14 by a score of 42-14 and seemed to be primed for another run deep into the postseason. While the Pats are 9.5 point favorites at the moment, don’t expect this week to be another walk in the park.
The Texans are coming off of an...
Texas Tussle: Dallas Cowboys or Houston Texans?
Growing up in San Antonio, I have been more-or-less conditioned into being a Cowboys fan. It wasn’t something I chose per say, it was something that was bestowed upon me. As great as that has been at times, recently I have found myself in situations like the one I faced the other day when a friend asked:“Why are you a Cowboys fan? The Texans are better and Houston is closer to...
