The Philadelphia Eagles have cancelled their pre-draft visit with top CB prospect Dee Milliner, as Jeff McLane reported earlier. Teams are allotted 30 official pre-draft visits with prospective draftees. When a team brings a guy in for a visit, it usually means they want to get to know him a little better and get some lingering questions answered. Visits can show varying levels of interest in a player; whether it’s to rule him in or out as a prospect, furthering their due diligence because they want to draft him, or it could be just an infamous smokescreen. During the Andy Reid era, with the exception of the two times they picked within the top 10, the Eagles never had an official visit with their true first-round draft target. However, they also never scheduled one and then cancelled it. The fact that they cancelled the meeting with Milliner can only mean that we can now rule him out as our pick at No. 4. Apparently, they feel they know enough about him and don’t feel the n...

Regarded as the top quarterback in this year's draft class, Geno Smith has been projected to go at various spots -- No. 1 to Kansas City, No. 2 to Jacksonville, and No. 3 to Oakland being the most popular.
But there's another team in the top five that will presumably pounce on the ex-Mountaineer.
In his newest mock draft, Lance Zierlein of the Houston Chronicle has the...
If the Philadelphia Eagles have a chance to trade back in the 2013 NFL Draft, I think most fans would be on board with that idea. With various needs and the lack of a “must-have” player at pick No. 4, trading down to acquire an extra pick or two is an attractive scenario.
The problem is, as we all know, that in order to trade down, we need someone who wants to trade up. ...
The Eagles thought they built a dream team in Philadelphia. What they built was the team that cost Andy Reid his job. New coach Chip Kelly is putting his system in place and needs players that can execute his game plan. They will have a lot of options at #4?
At this point most teams have made their big moves in free agency. The players remaining are either veterans at...

In a move that is being painted as “Chip Kelly remaking his roster,” the Cleveland Browns have acquired running back Dion Lewis from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

Today, the Philadelphia Eagles got something out of nothing, but that's going to be news to those in the fan base that watches preseason football and wonders why it doesn't go the same as real games.

The Buffalo Bills have claimed linebacker Marcus Dowtin off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dowtin entered the NFL with the New York Jets last season as an undrafted free agent out of North Alabama. He appeared in three games for the Jets after being elevated from the practice squad on Oct. 17.
Dowtin was signed to a reserve-future contract with Philadelphia on Dec. 31 of...
