In what was his worst performance of the season, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson held himself accountable for not only the mistakes he made on the field, but for his teams overall performance on offense Sunday in a 23-13 loss at Dallas. Jackson finished 17 of 30 for 221 yards, no touchdowns and three costly interceptions that Dallas turned into 10 points. Jackson had solid protection most of the day. He was sacked just once, and finished with a 40.4 passer rating. I feel very sick about how I played today, Jackson said. I just made some stupid mistakes. You cant do it. Ive been staying away from those mistakes the whole season, and its just one of those games where you just do something stupid. So, Ive got to watch the film. But I already know what I did wrong. But Ill just watch it and try to get better.

Seahawks need to protect Jackson
There's not much question that Tarvaris Jackson will be Seattle's starting quarterback this week. The uncertainty is how long Jackson can last in the pocket.
Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson, WR Sidney Rice Likely To Play Vs Cowboys
Pete Carroll wouldn't commit to the fact that Tarvaris Jackson will start at quarterback Sunday, but Jackson did practice fully Friday and is listed as probable for the game. "He made it through practice today and practiced the whole time," Carroll said. ". . . So we go into the weekend thinking hes got a chance to play for us. It would be nice to have him."...

Seattle's Jackson 'very sick about' performance
Coming off the best passing day of his career, Tarvaris Jackson was looking to be even better against the Dallas Cowboys.
His evaluation: ''I feel very sick about how I played today.''
Jackson threw interceptions on consecutive passes with the game on the line in the second half and another on his final throw, a fitting end to a 23-13 loss Sunday.

Hawks inactives: Jackson, Branch ready
Greetings from Cowboys Stadium. There were no real surprises on today’s inactive list for Seattle. Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (pectoral), as expected, is active for today’s game and appeared to throw the ball fine during pre-game workouts. Defensive tackle Alan Branch (knee/hip) also got the okay from Seattle’s trainers and is active today. But Cameron Morrah (toe/hip) did...
Cowboys beat Seahawks 23-13
Another week, and another loss in a winnable game. The national medias take on this game was that Dallas was “too much” for the Seahawks, but I don’t buy it. These were surprisingly even teams. The only reason Dallas won was because Jackson threw 2 interceptions that were turned into 10 points. The Seahawks could have easily won this game. These game notes are just my “gut...
Cowboys 23, Seahawks 13
The Seahawks let another winnable game slip away yesterday, and with that loss all realistic hope for a return to the playoffs evaporated. The good things Seattle did (protecting Tarvaris Jackson, establishing a solid ground game, excellent red zone defense) were overwhelmed by a clattering brood of mistakes: Penalties, poor decision-making (particularly from T-Jack), and an offense...
Seahawks Report Card
Another game, another loss. 3 in a row now. It’s getting tough to not just get completely frustrated with this team each week. I still believe that there’s plenty of talent on this team, but it’s just not showing at this point. Too much inexperience, and not enough coaching at this point to see results. Lets see what grades the Seahawks earned this week:Tarvaris Jackson: DJackson...

The Seahawks finished the first half of their schedule with a whimper on Sunday, falling to the Dallas Cowboys 23-13 in a game that was never really close in the second half.
