The Seattle Times reports on Tuesday that the Seahawks could be without quarterback Tarvaris Jackson in Week 7 at Cleveland when the team comes back from the bye Week 6. Jackson, who suffered a high-grade pectoral strain near his throwing arm, might need surgery. "We're not going to know for a while," coach Pete Carroll said when asked about his starter's status for Week 7. Jackson's injury status is very much up in the air, but there is a very real possibility that his season could be over. Charlie Whitehurst will take first-team snaps in practice for the time being.
