According to ESPN’s Adam Shefter, Matt Flynn has agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks on a three-year deal worth up to $26 million, with $10 million guaranteed. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the contract has a base value of $19 million.

The Seattle Seahawks have found their next quarterback while the San Francisco 49ers are still trying to lure theirs.
According to 710 ESPN in Seattle, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has made it clear that there will be an open competition at the quarterback position and the starting job won’t be automatically handed over to newly acquired Matt Flynn.
“We now have the opportunity to make it an open competition,” said Carroll regarding the Seahawks quarterbacks.
