The Seattle Seahawks needed overtime to pull off today's upset of the Chicago Bears, but in the end, Russell Wilson was able to take the Seahawks down the field on the first possession of overtime, ending with a touchdown toss to Sidney Rice. The game was close throughout, with the Seahawks holding a late lead before Jay Cutler connected with Brandon Marshall, putting the Bears in position for a tying field goal. The star of the game, and of the Seahawks' season, was Russell Wilson, who through for 293 yards and two touchdowns against a very good Bears defense. More importantly, Wilson didn't turn the ball over. The win puts the Seahawks just a game behind the Bears in the wild card race. The Packers now lead the division. The key here is that the Seahawks hold the tie-breaker over the Bears, which may come in handy later this month. For now, it appears that Russell Wilson has matured beyond his years, and he has the potential to take the Seahawks back to the playoffs. [follow]
