Seattle Seahawks thoroughly enjoyed their 42-13 victory over the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night. Second-year cornerback Richard Sherman wanted to continue the Seahawks two-week trend of scoring 50 points on opponents, telling Yahoo! Sports, "I'm not gonna lie to you, I told Pete, 'Let's score and go for two.' He said, 'We have more class than that.' " Seahawks third-year coach Pete Carroll has a history with 49ers second-year coach Jim Harbaugh.  Heading into Sunday night's game Carroll had a 1-5 record against Harbaugh.   In 2009 while Carroll coached the USC Trojans and Harbaugh coached the Stanford Cardinals, Harbaugh went for a two-point conversion late in the game with a 27-point lead, which was unsuccessful.  At the end of the 55-21 Cardinal victory, Carroll famously responded by asking Harbaugh, "Whats your deal?"  On Sunday, Carroll said he never considered going for two after Seattle's last touchdown, "everybody else around me [had that thought]. A lot of people reminded me about it." Defensive backs, Sherman and Earl Thomas said after the Niners' 13-6 victory over the Seahawks in October, Harbaugh drove by the team bus in the Candle Stick parking lot to rub the victory in. "He honked his horn at the bus and waved," said Sherman, who did not witness the incident. "That happened — a bunch of the guys told me. Yeah, he was [honking]." "Happy birthday — that's what you get," Said Thomas noting that Harbaugh turned 49 on Sunday. "Yeah, he [honked at us]. It seems like he tries to be a professional in front of the camera, but he does his antics, like that, when the cameras aren't around. "He's just a big kid. We don't worry about that stuff. We just play the game. The best team won [Sunday], and it was convincing." Carroll downplayed any animosity with Harbaugh.  "I have great respect for him," Carroll insisted. "He's a great competitor. We might not hang out together, but that doesn't mean anything about what I think of him. "Look at the work. Look at what he did at Stanford, and then here. He's done a marvelous job. I feel like I'm the one always talking about it. I don't mind talking about it because I think it's real. So that's why it's such a big deal to be able to get this done." With the Victory the Seahawks clinched a playoff berth and are guaranteed at least the NFC's No. 5 seed.
