Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said receivers Sidney Rice and Ben Obomanu (knee/ankle) will not practice today. And quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (strained pectoral) also will take it easy today. Also, Alan Branch (ankle) will not practice today. The Seahawks also placed rookie James Carpenter was placed on season-ending, injured reserve. Both Carpenter and John Moffitt are having their knee surgeries today.
