Looking for a backup quarterback for Russell Wilson ever since the Seattle Seahawks traded Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders, the organization struck up conversation with the New York Jets on Saturday and threw out a feeler to see what it would take to get Tebow to head out west. Much to the chagrin of many Jets fans, Tebow will be staying put for the time being.
In a way, the Tebow matchup for the Seahawks made some sense. Both are physical quarterbacks that have the capability of picking up yardage on the ground. But unlike Wilson, that is where Tebow’s ability as a NFL quarterback halts.
Wilson, barring injuries, should have an excellent sophomore season considering the addition of star wide out Percy Harvin and the bolstered defense which should keep the Seahawks offense on the field more.
Tebow, no matter what team he lands on, has no fantasy football value. Pass on him just as Seattle did today. He deserves no draft consideration no matter the size of fantasy league.
