Since the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks became the teams-to-beat with their spectacular talent on defense, and offense; many NFL fans consider them evenly match, with the 49ers defeating the Seahawks in their first meeting last season, 13-6, and the Seahawks defeating the 49ers in their second meeting in 2012, 42-13.Colin Kaepernick(SF) and Russell Wilson(SEA) have also came into the scene and put up great numbers while leading their team to victories as well; due to a Madden 25 commercial, there was a rumor that Wilson or Kaepernick would have to shave an eyebrow if their team lost, yet it was ruled out as just the script in the commercial.NOTE TO EDITOR: If this isn't published BEFORE the game starts, don't bother publishing it.Three factors that will play a role in the final outcome of this matchup:The Anquan Boldin Effect: Can Colin Kaepernick further establish his chemistry with Boldin? In the 49ers' season opener against the Green Bay Packers, Boldin caught 13 of 17 targets for 208 yards and one touchdown, Boldin looks to make up for the 49ers' No. 1 receiver, Michael Crabtree, who tore his ACL, so Boldin will get a constant amount of targets. Yet the Seahawks are well known for their secondary, with a deadly combination of cornerbacks and safeties, cornerbacks Richard Sherman, and Brandon Browner, and safeties Earl Thomas, and Kam Chancellor, who caught a combined total of 14 interceptions last season. It's hard to imagine Boldin not being double-teamed.Who will utilize the read option: Judging from last season, the 49ers were arguably the better team at utilizing the read option, with the deadly combination of Frank Gore and Colin Kaepernick, Kaepernick has only 74 less rushing yards than Wilson in six less starts because of it; defenses struggled trying to contain Kaepernick, who rushed for 181 yards against the Green Bay Packers(the most by a quarterback in a single game). Yet the Seahawks also have the deadly combination of Russell Wilson, and Marshawn Lynch(who is arguably better than Frank Goe). Neither team has depended on the read option so far, despite only entering week 2 of the NFL season, will this come into play in outcome of this rivalry? If so, the Seahawks may have a tough time containing Kaepernick, despite their talented defense(and maybe vice versa). Will the 49ers miss Dashon Goldson: Dashon Goldson is one of the best safeties in the NFL, but that no longer benefits the 49ers; he is now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goldson caught three interceptions last season with San Francisco, and played a big role in their passing defense. Will Goldson's absence show when the Seahawks go to their air attack? Will Russell Wilson wish Percy Harvin was healthy: The Seahawks' receivers aren't exactly elite receivers, but they are above average. Wilson has the likes of Golden Tate and Sidney Rice he can depend on, Tate and Rice are both very talented receivers, that any team would love apart of their organization, but they aren't up-to-par with an Anquan Boldin in which Kaepernick has in his arsenal. The Seahawks did defeat the 49ers last season, 42-13 with the same receivers, but don't count on it being a blow-out once again, Harvin could have brung a heavier skillset in which the 49ers' secondary would have to dwell on, which would create open looks for other passing options for Wilson. The bottom line is, Kaepernick has a main go-to man in Boldin; with Percy Harvin injured, Wilson doesn't.
