That’s very possible and if that happens, they’ll just need to win out and two of their final 3 games are at home, where they look pretty unbeatable. I don’t think even the 49ers could go in there and win. They’ll have to avoid another trip up against an inferior team on the road this week in Buffalo (a la St. Louis, Detroit, Miami, and Arizona), but if they can do that, I think this is this year’s team that goes from out of the playoffs to a first round bye. A first round bye would assure them at least one home playoff game and that’s no somewhere if you want to go if you’re a team like the 49ers, Packers, or Bears.
