The last of the three major free agents of the Patriots, Sebastian Vollmer, has been re-signed by the New England Patriots after a disappointing right tackle free agent market did not offer him the money he wanted. Field Yates was the first to report:
Filed to ESPN Boston: the Patriots and free agent OT Sebastian Vollmer have reached an agreement on a new contract.— Field Yates (@FieldYates) March 24, 2013
The Boston Herald reported it to be a four-year deal:
Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer expected to sign four-year deal with Patriots tomorrow, according to a source.— Karen Guregian (@kguregian) March 24, 2013
This seals the destiny of the New England Patriots three major free agents, and it locks in the Patriots offensive line from last year.
