Owners, players and coaches always have a different mentality on how to approaches their upcoming opponents. Some show their match-up extreme respect by never underestimating them, others will say whatever they can to criticize. By downplaying your opponent, you can maybe instill a sense of confidence in your own team. There is no shock that the New York Jets seem to be taking this road with their game against the Patriots coming this Sunday.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who some believe to be the 'greatest living American' has undoubtedly received his share of criticism (mostly unwarranted). Jets defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson has decided to look down upon about the future Hall-of-Famer as opposed to respecting his accomplishments:
"I'm not treating him like Superman," defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson said Wednesday. "He's Tom Brady; I'm Sheldon Richardson. He's a name. He's a figure, a franchise player. I'm trying to ge...

This Sunday the New England Patriots (5-1) travel to New Jersey to take on the New York Jets (3-3). The game will be shown at 1 PM (EST) on CBS.
This has been a weird week. Last Sunday’s game against the Saints was simultaneously an instant classic, one of the greatest clutch moments in Tom Brady’s career, a return to form for Stevan Ridley, and a huge win over a great team,...
Sheldon Richardson is a Jets rookie. Most people, much less NFL fans, have never heard of him, but he has decided to assume the mantle of the New York player running his mouth before Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Richardson’s attack method is not a new one — he’s going after quarterback Tom Brady, and he’s saying the Patriots get special treatment from the league...
Five takeaways from New England’s comeback victory:
To sum this game up in just one statement: He’s back.
Tom Brady is back.
Following the team’s first loss of the season a week ago against the Cincinnati Bengals, the New England Patriots rebounded to the best of their ability against the 5-0 New Orleans Saints — but mark them down as 5-1 after Sunday.
With that being...

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- "Tom Brady. Tom Brady."
Those were the words Miami offensive coordinator James Coley kept saying to his senior quarterback, Stephen Morris, as he prepared to take the field for Miami's last chance at staying undefeated.
Weird, right? After all, Morris had looked nothing like Tom Brady through much of Thursday night's game at North Carolina....
Emotionally, the last five minutes of Sunday's close call against New Orleans was the equivalent of the most intense roller coaster ride I've experienced in a long time. After Tom Brady threw an interception with just over two minutes remaining, I was certain we had lost the game. But then, almost as quickly as it had happened, our defense had forced a three and out and...
AFC East Game Preview : New England Patriots at the New York Jets in Week 7!
The New England Patriots may be dealing with a slew of injuries, but their most important player is still healthy while expecting another main part to be making his debut.
Tom Brady had a few issues with the New York Jets early in the season as they held him to 185 yards and just 1 touchdown. In prior...
The New England Patriots may be dealing with a slew of injuries, but their most important player is still healthy.
Tom Brady also tends to have few issues against the New York Jets.
A week after engineering a stunning game-winning drive in the final seconds, Brady may be hoping things go a lot easier Sunday at MetLife Stadium as he tries to continue his dominance of the Jets.
A half empty Gillette Stadium witnessed one of the greatest ends to a game in recent memory. With 73 seconds left and no timeouts remaining who else would you want leading your offense in to the last chance saloon other than Tom Brady. After all it was Terrific Tom who rallied the Patriots to victory in Louisiana at Super Bowl XXXVI when the team had no timeouts and just 1:30 left...
The New York Jets fell right into the trap game, and were beaten by the previously winless Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday 19-6. No rest for the weary, as they now welcome Tom Brady and the New England Patriots into MetLife for a game with huge division implications. The Jets need a win to go to 2-1 in the division and keep any chance they have of winning it this year alive. A sweep...

It might seem a bit redundant to rehash the agony of the New England Patriots' woes, from the ignominious end to a stellar 2012 campaign to a pile—up of injuries that would fill the wing of some hospitals... it's a torrid tale of disgusting proportions!Bill Belichick is certainly battling nightmares over the sequence of events that has taken a severe toll on his troops...
The Patriots will face the Jets tomorrow and with them the man who once said Tom Brady was an asshole, Antonio Cromartie.
Cromartie, famous for struggling to remember the names of all his kids, hasn't been too fond of his play as of late either.
