There was some speculation that Cleveland Browns running back Montario Hardesty was demoted after not taking part in practice yesterday. He’s fumbled in both of the last two games and some thought head coach Pat Shurmur was sending him a message by not letting him practice. Well Shurmur put all of that to rest today. “No, not at all,” said Shurmur. “He’s just sore from the game. He’s fine. Hardesty has lost the ball in each of the past two games. Brandon Jackson worked with the first team in place of Hardesty, and might start Thursday night against the Bears. “Each person that develops soreness, you handle differently depending on who they are,” said Shurmur. “We have protocol for that.” (Cleveland Plain Dealer) I guess this is good news for Hardesty as a demotion would have been a horrible thing for him since
