Every major sports news outlet is saying it now. It's being debated on Twitter, often by non-fans who'd like to remain in that camp but can't deny that something is different. It's being discussed in and around the Edward Jones Dome, where the energy is pulsating and vibrant. Old fans of the ‘Greatest Show on Turf’ become ill at the sight of the offensively-challenged unit. Newer fans… well, I can't put into words how we feel right now. Regardless of how you feel or what you say, however, the truth is undeniable now: The St. Louis Rams are relevant again. Relevant to a league who views the NFC West as an ugly stepchild. Relevant to a city fresh off of its ‘Baseball Cardinals’ winning the first-ever MLB Wild Card game, 6-3, in a one-or-done NL affair against the Atlanta Braves, on the road in a hostile environment (Go Cards!).
