Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday wide receiver Antonio Brown should play and he's ''encouraged'' by safety Troy Polamalu's progress from a right calf injury.
Polamalu has played just five quarters all season after injuring the calf in the opener at Denver and aggravating the injury against the Eagles on Oct. 7. Let’s see, the Pittsburgh Steelers are without Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu. They showed some promise earlier this season with a four-game winning streak that got them to six wins. Then they lost two straight, including a defeat in Cleveland to a woeful Browns team. Now they’re 6-5 and losing their grip on a playoff berth.
