The Thursday injury report is now out, and as expected, wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), safety Troy Polamalu (calf), and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder, rib) did not practice.
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Wednesday that they re-signed rookie nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu to the practice squad.
Ta'amu had been released from the 53-man roster on Monday when the Steelers promoted wide receiver David Gilreath from the practice squad because of the ankle injury to wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Ta'amu cleared the 24 hour waiver period on Tuesday...
The Pittsburgh Steelers have already ruled out quarterback
Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder/rib) for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore
Ravens, but they could also be without wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and
safety Troy Polamalu (calf) who both missed practice Thursday.
Ankle has been recovering from a high ankle sprain suffered
during the team’s game against the New...

Below are the offensive player play counts and participation chart for the Pittsburgh Steelers week 10 win over the Kandas City Chiefs.
As I posted recently, the Steelers once again made it through another game with all five of their offensive lineman playing every snap. It is too bad that the same can't be said about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Excuses might be tools of the imcompetent, but the Steelers' wide receivers had a wagon full of them after their historically puny output without Antonio Brown on Monday.
Steelers waived NT Alameda Ta’amu and promoted WR David Gilreath from their practice squad. Ta’amu is practice-squad eligible, but the Steelers may be ready to wash their hands of him. He embarrassed the franchise with an October DUI. Ta’amu was the 109th overall pick in April’s draft. Gilreath was brought up to play special teams on Monday Night Football. He’s also receiver...
Defensive lineman Alameda Ta'amu was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ta'amu, a fourth-round pick out of the University of Washington in April, was charged with drunken driving and attempting to elude police during a car chase Oct. 14.The incident resulted in five felony charges, including aggravated assault, and 10 total charges against Ta'amu. He was reinstated...
With the promotion of wide receiver David Gilreath to the active roster now out of the way for Pittsburgh Steelers, we can now look at the projected inactive list for the Monday nigght game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
4 of the 7 names on the list this week will be inactive this week because those players have been ruled out for the game due to injuries and 1 more on the list...
Ryan Clark has decided to change helmets after knocking himself out of two straight games with apparent concussions. Clark currently wears the old model Riddell football helmet that is still very popular among many players in the league, but he has decided to make a change. He will now be wearing the Riddell Revolution football helmet, the same model that Troy Polamalu wears.
If you held a straw poll of Pittsburgh Steelers’ MVP candidates through nine games this season, there’s a good chance you’d see votes for Ben Roethlisberger, Heath Miller and Ryan Clark. In the absence of Troy Polamalu, Clark has taken over as the leader of the secondary and has played with his usual reckless abandon in collecting tackle after tackle. While much of the focus...
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn is inactive for Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the second straight game he will miss due to a concussion.
Matt Cassel will start for the Chiefs and Ricky Stanzi will be the backup. Wide receiver Steve Breaston is also inactive for Kansas City.
The Steelers made safety Troy Polamalu inactive for the fifth straight...
