If the Pittsburgh Steelers wind up using a three-man rotation at outside linebacker similar to the one used during the preseason, you can bet that LaMarr Woodley isn't going to be too happy about it. "Part-time player? I don't think so," Woodley said Wednesday, according to Alan Robinson of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "The only time I've been a part-time player is due to injuries these past two seasons. Other than that, no, I never have been." While he only played 50 snaps during the preseason, Woodley appears to be fully recovered from the ankle and hamstring problems that he suffered through last year. He is scheduled to make $3.6 million in 2013, so you can't blame him for wanting to earn every bit of it. During his talk with the media Wednesday, Woodley also made a point to say that playing-part time is difficult to do and that a rotation system has never been used in Pittsburgh since he became a starter in 2008. During his Tuesday press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin said rookie Jarvis Jones will play Sunday in the season opener against the Tennessee Titans and he didn't rule out the possibility of Woodley coming off the field for a few plays as well. On Thursday, Woodley was again asked about the possibility of some sort of rotation happening this weekend and he answered the question with a grin. "I guess we'll just have to wait to Sunday," he said. Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley Doesn’t Want To Be A Part-Time Player In 2013 is a post from: Steelers Depot
