Steelers’ Mendenhall Remains On Track To Return vs. Eagles -
Rashard Mendenhall (knee) is still on track to make his 2012 debut against the Eagles in Week 5. Coach Mike Tomlin expects Mendenhall to practice in full this week and suit up Sunday. He didn’t discuss roles, but we’d expect Mendy to draw the start and work as the head of a committee with backup Isaac Redman. Jonathan Dwyer figures to sink into a third-string role. Mendy is “just” nine months removed from his ACL tear, but Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles have proven that is more than enough recovery time. As long as the knee cooperates, Mendenhall’s role will grow rapidly.

Rashard Mendenhall ready to return
Rashard Mendenhall (knee) is expected to make his season debut this Sunday against the Eagles. His health is far from a guarantee, which is why I am benching him in all leagues this week.
