The Steelers today placed three players on injured reserve, ending their seasons with only their game against Cleveland at Heinz Field left to it: Ike Taylor, Heath Miller and Baron Batch. Miller and Batch were injured in last Sunday's game and Taylor missed the past three games with a hairline fracture of his right ankle. Batch had surgery to repair a broken arm and Miller will have surgery to repair a torn ACL in his knee. To fill the roster spots, the Steelers signed tight end Jamie McCoy, safety Damon Cromartie-Smith and linebacker Marshall McFadden. The latter two had been on their practice squad and McCoy was released from their prcatice squad Nov. 22. Source: Pittsburgh Post Gazette
