The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Minnesota Vikings Sunday in London at Wembley Stadium and below are seven things to watch for in the game.
All Day With Felton - The Steelers main goal Sunday will be to of course shut down Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who has rushed for 281 yards and three touchdowns in three games. This week, however, Peterson will have his main fullback Jerome Felton back, so that could make for some interesting collisions in this game. Inside linebackers Lawrence Timmons and Vince Williams will have to do a good job of wading through the trash in order to get Peterson down on the ground and the Steelers outside linebackers have to keep the edge set in order to force him back inside to help. The best defense against Peterson and Felton, however, is a lead on the scoreboard as it will force the Vikings into more 11 personnel groupings and away from their running game in the second half if they are down by 10 or more points. Should Peterson go off f...

With the Pittsburgh Steelers off to an 0-4 start the fans want an action taken. A lot of them think the failure is Mike Tomlin’s fault, they think the team has been on a steady downhill decline since Tomlin took over as the team’s head coach. This is the worse start to a season the team has had since 1968. The fans feel like they were lied to. Many are saying the team promised...
The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped to 0-4 this week, falling just six yards short against the Vikings in London but as Steelers fans are greatly disappoined there are some positive takeaways from a fantasy perspective. Most notably, their rookie rusher is making a big difference. In the first quarter of his first game Le’Veon Bell gave the Steelers something they hadn’t had all...

Harrison Smith will probably be facing a suspension again from the NFL, but this time he is defending his hit. ” I don’t really want to say too much because I don’t know where that will get me,” Smith said. “But ultimately … Heath Miller had a knee injury last year, right? And as a […]
Several people are upset that Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Everson Griffen wasn't flagged for a horse-collar tackle on Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger at the end of the game Sunday, but it was indeed the right no-call.
Per NFL rules, it is still legal to horse-collar a quarterback while he is in the pocket.
In March of 2012, the Steelers unsuccessfully...
The NFL live from London England, is this the example the NFL wanted to send to England? Think about it, 2 of the worse team’s in the league this year, facing off in front of England. The NFl sends the 0-3 Pittsburgh Steelers to play against the 0-3 Minnesota Vikings. They could not have known both team’s would be this bad when they set this game up in England. The NFL is sending...
The Pittsburgh Steelers fell behind in the first half on the strength of two long touchdowns by the Minnesota Vikings. The Steelers look to overcome the 20-10 deficit in the second half, in which they receive the ball first.
In in the first half, Markus Wheaton came out for the first snap on offense. Le’Veon Bell took the handoff, however, for four yards. Kelvin Beachum remained...
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau always preaches to his defense that they must stop the run, tackle the catch and not give up the big play in order to be successful. Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, his unit failed in all three of those areas and as a result the team now heads into their bye week at 0-4.
Not only did the defense allow five explosive plays...

Nevertheless, Brown has been targeted 26 times over the last two games and is a must...
After Week 4 in the NFL only four teams are without a win, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger has deemed that his own squad is the worst of the bunch. After Pittsburgh lost to the Vikings 34-27 on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London Roethlisberger presented his state of the Steelers, “Right now, you could...
L.C. Greenwood, the relentless defensive end who made up one quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers' ''Steel Curtain'' defense of the 1970s, has died. He was 67.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office said Greenwood died Sunday from undisclosed causes just before noon at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
A six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, Greenwood...
The Steelers are 0-4 going into their bye week. October is in like a few minutes basically and the Steelers haven't won a game. Unless some directly equivalent Penguins slow-start happens, we'll see a Penguins win before the Steelers put one in the W column. And if the inverse equivalent happens in baseball, we will see a Pirates playoff win before the Steelers get to any...
Kicker Blair Walsh entered 6-for-6 in field goals and nailed his first two attempts of 54 and 37 yards. But he hooked a 43-yarder with 6:49 remaining that would have given the Vikings a 13-point lead. Walsh set a team record for most 50-plus-yard field goals in a career. He is a perfect 12-for-12 from […]
