“Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey Goodbye”…
It’s been almost 18 years since the Cowboys won a Super Bowl. Yes those were the days back when Cowboys’ fans actually had something to brag about. The Coalter Report: Dallas vs. Falcons
What Went Right The defense once again was solid this week. Ware got pressure constantly and made sure to leave Matt Ryan’s face print onto the field before the game was over. Another Cowboys debacle against Falcons
After last night’s prime time loss – in which many folks are choosing to focus on whether or not Atlanta did enough to wow us, rather than on how Dallas failed to take advantage of an Atlanta squad that they held out of the ‘wow zone’ – those who are fans of the Cowboys are questioning their team, their quarterback, their owner and their coach.
Nothing new there… but...

Falcons Are Now 8-0; Still No Respect
Its 11 am MST on a day after the Atlanta Falcons beat the disoriented Dallas Cowboys to go 8-0 for the first time in their franchise history, and the Falcons still aren’t getting any respect. And I’m not about to give them any respect either. At least not now. Just an “Atta Boy”!
I will acknowledge that Matt Ryan has finally elevated his game to that next level, and those...

Jerry Jones told Bob Costas over the weekend that Jones the owner would have fired Jones the G.M. by now. After Sunday night’s loss to the Falcons, the Cowboys may have tried to fire both guys.
According to Matt Barrie of NBC 5 in Dallas, “Jerry Jones just pounded [the] locker room door because no one would let him in. It’s the angriest I’ve seen him all year.”

Monday Musings: Doug Martin’s heroic effort, Peterson’s big day for naught, another Dallas disappointment; and other notes from week 9
There is no other way to lead a recap of Sunday’s games than with a discussion of Doug Martin’s effort. I spent the week talking about how the loss of the best guard in football may have an impact on this line (lets give Tampa’s o-line some credit, too) and the run game. Martin and his teammates proved me wrong on game day. Oakland fought valiantly to stay in this game, but...
