The Sunday night football game of the week features the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers and it should come as no surprise as the world eagerly awaits the return of Peyton Manning. The Broncos nabbed Manning from the Colts in the off-season and automatically became Super Bowl contenders.

Sunday Night Football: Manning vs Steelers defense

The Steelers have a different look coming into this opener and although some will suggest the pressure is on Peyton Manning coming into this game; it is the Steelers that have to adjust quickly.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a mainstay in the AFC playoff race and they went through plenty of changes in the offseason that could cause this team to get off to a slow start. From the Rashard Mendenhall injury to the Mike Wallace hold out, the Steelers will have to adjust quickly if they plan on getting off to a good start. In fact the pressure may actually be on quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for this game since he will shoulder the load for the Steelers.

The Broncos are a different team that ejected the Steelers from the playoffs a year ago since they no longer have Tim Tebow, but the Steelers still would like to exact a measure of revenge. That is going to be harder than it looks with the way the Broncos are shaping up this preseason.

The Broncos offensive line may not be loaded with household names but they are a solid unit with the experience of playing with one another.

Manning has plenty of offensive weapons and after he gets the initial hit from the Steelers defense Manning will again steal the spot light.

The Steelers are too good to be blown out in any game, but this game belongs to the Denver Broncos and the night belongs to Peyton Manning.
