The Oakland Raiders Should Smash Geno Smith

On Sunday, the 4-8 Oakland Raiders should be able to go into MetLife Stadium and defeat the 5-7 New York Jets. Why you may ask? Why, can a team who has not won in the Eastern time zone since 2009, back when Bruce Gradkowski lead the team to that thrilling win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, go into the the frigid New Jersey cold and escape with a win? Why can a team that does their...

Andre Holmes-ward bound: trust in the Raiders receiver to contribute down the stretch

It’s time to get to know Andre Holmes because he is opening eyes in Oakland. Holmes, after a nice outing in Week 11, burst onto the football scene last Thanksgiving Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys and I was quite impressed with what I saw from Holmes. He made numerous tough catches jumping over his defender one after another. That’s what it takes sometimes to be a successful...

Houston says he expects to bounce back...

Will the Raiders even make Darren McFadden an offer when he becomes a free agent?

Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times stated that he doesn’t believe Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie will make Darren McFadden an offer when he hits free agency this coming offseason. Sadly enough,  Corkran is right.  As good as McFadden is,  he’s not worth keeping because of his inability to stay on the field There’s no doubt...
