Ironically and hysterically, the Miami Dolphins players welcomed the media into the locker room by blaring circus music. It’s been that kind of week I guess. Today, during the post-practice press conference, Joe Philbin essentially declined to talk about the Martin/Incognito situation until the NFL investigation is over with. Photo Courtesy of Dolphins.com Ryan Tannehill, however, stood up for Incognito and tried to explain that the focus of the team is on the Tampa Bay Bucs. Here are a few of the tweets recapping Tannehill’s comments: Ryan Tannehill: “If you asked Jonathan Martin who his best friend is on this team two weeks ago, he’d say Richie Incognito.” — Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) November 6, 2013 This is a very interesting comment to me. Taken at face value, it hurts Martin’s case. But the possibility also exists that Martin was intimidated by Richie and wanted to become friends with him in the hopes that the jokes, etc. would stop. Considering the source, the seemingly squeaky clean Tannehill, you have to at least think that he’s telling you what he really feels. Just another twist in this rapidly changing and evolving story. Tannehill has strong words about the relationship between Incognito and Martin, noting Incognito was always first to be at Martin’s side. — Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) November 6, 2013 (continued on page 2, CLICK HERE)

Jonathan Martin‘s lawyer, David Cornwell, has issued a statement regarding the bullying situation involving Dolphins G Richie Incognito.
Jonathan Martin’s toughness is not at issue. Jonathan has started every game with the Miami Dolphins since he was drafted in 2012. At Stanford, he was the anchor for Jim Harbaugh’s “smash mouth” brand of football and he protected Andrew...

Our favorite Taiwanese animation studio is at it again, this time taking on Richie Incognito's treatment of Miami Dolphins teammate Jonathan Martin.
The original news regarding Jonathan Martin quitting football because he was bullied was almost an Onion headline. I mean, we knew the Dolphins were soft - they had lost four of five games at the time - but walking away because of name-calling is a bit much.
But as the details came out, this story became much more than name-calling and ribbing. It was vicious and harmful. We found...

All this Jonathan Martin / Richie Incognito stuff is very troubling...
My belief, Incognito took it way too far. At first, when this news broke, it was described as bullying.
But as facts began to uncover, it looked like straight up harassment - that calling it bullying was diminishing the severity of the issue.
Either way, that sort of behavior...
