ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Bills running back Fred Jackson is out with a concussion, and there’s at least one teammate who’s unhappy with how Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes celebrated after delivering the blow.
“Yeah, he’ll get his,” backup running back Tashard Choice said on Monday. “I don’t like to see nobody get hurt, and then on top of that [Spikes] making fun of him while he’s on the ground.”
Choice was referring to how Spikes flexed his arm, and then mouthed off at Jackson and several Bills players while the running back was down late in the fourth quarter of a 37-31 loss at New England.
“You know it’s cool to make a big hit,” Choice said. “But it’s not cool when somebody’s down like that.”
Bills coach Chan Gailey announced Jackson was diagnosed with a concussion and will not play Thursday, when the Bills (3-6) host AFC East rival Miami (4-5).

WHERE BUFFALO ROAM
A Bills fan living in Tampa wanted to keep up with news on his team, but now he says the franchise is sending him more alerts than he bargained for and wants it to stop immediately.
Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was none too pleased with what Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes did on Sunday during New England’s 37-31 win over Buffalo at Gillette Stadium. Fitzpatrick, who was visibly upset with Spikes following a questionable hit during the game, carried that frustration with him to the postgame news conference where he called Spikes a “punk.” Running...
During an appearance on a Miami radio show, Dolphins running back Reggie Bush followed the lead of the hosts and took a shot at women from Buffalo.
At what point does a Buffalo Bills fan just call it a day?How many more hard fought, but ultimately fruitless losses can a region take before they just throw their hands up and declare themselves uninterested in a team that seems all pain, no pleasure the last decade? For God’s sake, we Bills’ loyal wore Zubaz for you once. Zubaz! You see, this latest loss at New England, a place...
Buffalo Bills defensive end Chris Kelsay will miss his second straight game with a neck injury after being ruled out by the team from playing against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.
Kelsay did not practice Wednesday and has been out since getting hurt during practice last week. The team has not revealed the exact nature of the injury.
Coach Chan Gailey had given Kelsay a...
It was all set up perfectly.
After a huge defensive stop held the Patiots to only a field goal, the Bills were about to get the ball back trailing by only six points, with a chance to win the game.
Ryan Fitzpatrick had been on fire all afternoon, throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in the contest.
After driving down into the New England redzone, it appeared as if the Bills...
Buffalo Bills coach Chan Gailey said on radio station WGR on Monday that running back Fred Jackson is being tested for concussion-like symptoms. It is not known if Jackson will be ready for Thursday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Gailey told the radio station that Jackson has not been ruled out for Thursday but he did not feel well on the flight home from New England...
How many people connected to the Bills could we put on our hit list for the ineptitude of this franchise? I think we could probably make a list of 100, right? Coaches, players, and GMs. The list goes on and on.
For now, I'd like to focus on the Bills' top lieutenants on the sideline who are either in a booth or just standing behind the head coach as the Bills are constantly...
Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a game-losing interception in the final seconds of the Buffalo Bills' loss to the New England Patriots Sunday. But unlike most of Buffalo's mistakes in the passing game, this one wasn't his fault. From the 15-yard line, Fitzpatrick dropped back to pass with 28 seconds to go, needing a touchdown and an extra point to win the game.Patriots defensive...
The 3-6 Buffalo Bills will be playing in their only prime-time game of the season when they host the 4-5 Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.
Buffalo will be playing not only to salvage their season, but also to earn their first win against an AFC East opponent in 2012.
The Dolphins on the other hand will be attempting to return to .500 on the season.

A.B. Ever wonder what it’s like to be a Buffalo Bills fan? Just watch Grandpa here whose been sipping a little too much of his cough medicine. Apparently, the “upset of the century” by “Fritz” [Fitzpatrick] against Tom Brady who “has never lost in New England” didn’t pan out too well for him.
Oh wait, is that a veteran hat I see? Thanks for your service & Happy...
Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush hasn't been playing up to expectations lately. Especially his own.
Bush was benched in the first quarter of Miami's 37-6 trouncing at the hands of the Tennessee Titans Sunday after he fumbled the ball for the third time this season.
"I've never been benched in my life," Bush said Monday, via the South Florida Sun Sentinel...
I have not come to bury the Buffalo Bills. No, they have done a fine job of that themselves as usual, thank you.
Don’t get me wrong – I want to. For the kajillionth time in this still young century, the local football team is realistically out of playoff contention before Thanksgiving (but not before wall-to-wall Christmas music. Gee, thanks STAR 102.5! Go suck on...
