TE Witten pleased with how QB Romo is 'managing the game'

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten said Thursday that he was pleased with how quarterback Tony Romo "managed the game" in a win over Carolina. "So much goes into it more than just how many touchdowns you throw. I think he's doing a good job of managing the game, getting in better situations and taking what the defense is giving us," Witten said. "When he does that, good things are happening to us. He's our leader, emotionally and physically out there on the field. I think any time he puts us in good positions like that, good things happen to us."
