Teams go post-cut day shopping for discounts at waiver wire*mart

In retail, the true craziest shopping day is not the so called Black Friday or the day after Thanksgiving, but in fact its the day after Christmas. That is the day that everyone and their sister's aunt go shopping for the bargain basement discounts. With Saturday being a Black Saturday for many players around the league as they joined the swelling ranks of the unemployed, general managers started scouring the discount bin waiver wire with a glazed look in their eyes reminiscent of those post Christmas "door busters" looking for top quality players at blowout prices.
