The most confusing team in the NFL continues to be the New York Jets. The current saga of complete confusion began last year when the Jets traded for a backup quarterback, Tim Tebow. At the time, it seemed as if owner Woody Johnson was adamant about bringing in Tebow, but now, Johnson is saying Tebow was "forced" on him according to SI.com. Head coach Rex Ryan spent the majority of 2012 dodging the Tim Tebow question. At one point, Ryan even passed Tebow in favor of "third" string quarterback Greg McElroy. Even though McElroy didn't pan out, Ryan and the Jets turned back to Mark Sanchez. With Johnson and Ryan clearly avoiding Tebow, it's becoming apparent that the idea to bring Tebow into the fold was purely, or at least mostly, the brain child of former general manager Mike Tennenbaum. Tennenbaum was fired at the end of the season, and he was replaced by Ted Sundquist. Tim Tebow will likely hit free agency in the not so distant future. The Jets are clearly moving in a new direction with their new general manager, and it's unclear if Tebow will even be able to find work in the NFL at this point. The team most thought he'd wind up with, the Jaguars, recently distanced themselves from Tebow. While Tim Tebow tries to figure out his future in the NFL, the Jets will continue to try to rebuild themselves in the likeness of an NFL team. With a new general manager in place, one would think that they stand a solid chance of moving in the right direction, but at least for now, they're still showing signs of the circus we all fondly remember. • I hope some team will be less stupid than the Jets (if that is possible). You get a talent and dont use him??? Where is that on the intelligence moniter????

I just cant process that there isn't a smart GM, Owner or some-one who will get his or their rears in gear and take him and play him!!!! That just might be the secret to everyone's success.

    Lots of luck.
  • Its sad how the media will publish full page rumors at the drop of a hat without verification. I'm surprised they don't get sued more often for all the adversity caused by their quick drawn embellishment.
