Terrell Owens has taken his public lobbying for an NFL roster spot to the Bay Area, telling a San Francisco radio station that he wants to play for the 49ers or the Raiders. "Obviously with the draft that just occurred these guys are going to try to fill out what they have on their roster first. Go through the minicamps, the OTAs and see what they have in their barn already. I'm on the outside looking in," Owens conceded. In an interview that will air on KGMZ-FM in San Francisco on Monday, Owens also told Brandon Tierney & former 49ers cornerback Eric Davis that he has "parted ways" with former agent Drew Rosenhaus, and right now has no representation. The record-setting wide receiver, who last played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010 (when he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns), was asked if he would have been a better fit with the 49ers than Randy Moss. "Would I have loved to have ended my career there, obviously signing a one- or two-year deal, absolutely. ... It is what it is at this point. I don't make those decisions and they were well aware I was out there so they felt they had the best man on their roster."

Terrell Owens Wants to Finish Where it Started

I came across this nice little piece on Terrell Owens from the Bay Area Sports Guy. Owens was interviewed by Brandon Tierney and Eric Davis on 95.7 FM “The Game”. It will not air until Monday, but Bay Area Sports Guy received a transcript via email: Would you have been a better fit with the 49ers (in response to the team taking a chance on Randy Moss): Owens: “Would I have...

Green, Dalton continue to make strides

With as much as A.J. Green and Andy Dalton accomplished their first year in the NFL, they might be even better in year two. "They've grown and experienced a lot. They're not the...

Projecting The Defensive Roster

Thanks to everyone who has voiced their opinions about how you think the Bengals’ roster will shape up over the coming months. The great thing about discussions like this is that anything can still happen for the guys we like, and we can all learn something from each other, so keep those comments coming. While I am not as secure with the backfield as I would like to be, I think...

AFC North Preview Part III: The Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals had an outstanding 2011 season, and hope to have a great 2012, but it may be tough to repeat their success from last year. Their defense also performed better than expected finishing in the top...

At least one of Terrell Owens‘ former quarterbacks likes him. Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer, who completed 72 passes to Owens during the 2010 season when they were teammates in Cincinnati, invited Owens along for a workout this offseason with Raiders receivers Darrius Heyward-Bey and Eddie McGee and tight end David Ausberry. Palmer said it was great for those youngsters to...

The Coming Quarterback Conundrum

The backup quarterback. The captain of the clipboard and backward baseball cap. Every team has one or two.
