The Houston Texans (8-1) activated LB Darryl Sharpton off the PUP list, per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
Sharpton, 24, suffered a setback (hip injury) in the offseason after attempting to return too quickly from quadriceps surgery.
In 20 games (six starts), Sharpton has racked up 1.0 sack and 46 combined tackles. The former 2010 fourth-round pick (102nd overall) out of Miami (FL) looks to contribute on special teams and should see several snaps at inside linebacker on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8), rotating with starters Bradie James and Tim Dobbins.

Sharpton was cleared to begin practicing in Week 10 and his return to action has been increasingly important with Brian Cushing out for the season.
