With the advantage of 20-20 hindsight, its easy to say Texans OLB Connor Barwin made the wrong decision by not signing a contract extension prior to the campaign, now that he has failed to record a sack in the first month of the season. However, Pro Football Weekly hears Barwin is playing very well against the run, plus he is coming closer and closer to getting in on the sack parade. It is worth noting that Barwin tallied only two sacks in the first eight games last season, before exploding for 9.5 in the final eight contests.

The Houston Texans may be the best team in the NFL through the first quarter of the 2012 NFL season. They have one of the most dominating defenses in the league and arguably the best running back as well in Arian Foster. While Texans head coach has said that Foster could handle becoming the fifth member of the 400+ carries club for one NFL season, he would be making a huge mistake...

Week 4 NFL Power Rankings
Through four weeks of the NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons (NFC) and Houston Texans (AFC) both look like the teams to beat in their respective conferences. Houston Texans (4-0) at New York Jets (2-2)
Prior to the Jets’ 34-0 home loss to the 49ers last week, one NFL executive compared the Revis injury to any other team losing it’s starting quarterback and he was so right. Without Revis, they can’t do any of the things to normally make them good defensively and for a defensive minded team, that’s absolutely devastating. Without...

New York Jets Keys to the Game: Week 5 vs. the Houston Texans
1. Stop the run
- San Francisco absolutely decimated the Jets last week thanks to their ability to run the ball. They barely took to the air, instead relying on a run-heavy attack that racked up over 200 yards on the ground. Houston has a great run game, spearheaded by All-Pro running back Arian Foster. If the Jets want to win, they’ll have to find a way to shut down Foster, Ben...
