As for your question I think if Welker comes back it’s probably unlikely they bring Amendola in, but I wouldn’t totally rule it out. I’d say then it comes down to him or Edelmand and I’d prefer Edelman.

Having that much money under the cap gives the Pats the flexibility to re-sign Wes Welker, as well as possibly bring in a guy like Mike Wallace.
