Miami Dolphins left tackle Jake Long is reportedly seeking at least $10 million a year to re-sign, and the team is growing 'pessimistic' at their chances of keeping him in Miami, reports Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. Long also reportedly scoffed at their first offer, so it would be fare to say that Jake's days in sunny Miami are over. The Dolphins will have $46 million in cap space and aren't eager to overpay their own free agents before the market dictates the number, according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Then again, will Long dictate the kind of money he's looking for? In some small circles, he's still considered a top left tackle, but injuries have marred his performance as of late. If Long does depart, Miami will go with Jonathan Martin as his replacement.
