The 33-year-old Palmer, who the Cincinnati Bengals took first overall out of the University of Southern California in 2003, has connected on 189 scores, against 130 picks, for 29,465 yards since debuting as a professional. The Oakland Raiders have traded quarterback Carson Palmer and a seventh-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft to the Arizona Cardinals for a 2013 sixth-round pick and a 2014 conditional seventh-round pick.
If Palmer starts more than 13 games in 2013, the Raiders would receive the draft pick.
