THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION RETURNS NEXT WEEK!

You know what I love? I love football.

You know what I love even more than I love football? Absolutely nothing.

However, do you know what I love almost as much as I love football? Reality T.V. So if you are able to give me sonething that combines those two things, then you've got yourself one happy viewer. Well, starting next week, HBO will once again give us a combo of those two things when Hard Knocks returns.

Hard Knocks, if you haven't seen it, is awesome. Its an HBO reality show/weekly documentary that follows an NFL team (last year it was the Chiefs, this year its the Cowboys) and the weekly goings on at preseason training camp. They show you everything. Last year we saw players getting cut, players dancing in the locker room like idiots, and we were introduced to Brodie >Croyle's wife. Here is why I am looking forward to it this year:

- Its on HBO, so its uncensored. Its still a little jarring to be into a show, forget that you are watching HBO for a second, and hear somebody casually drop an F bomb. Weird.

- Tank Johnson, Pacman, and TO on a reality show. That's good T.V.

- Meddlesome and annoying Jerry Jones (that's him above, dancing with what I can only assume is someone impersonating Urkel) finding new and inventive ways to shove others out of the way to hog camera time and make it seem like he is actually involved.

- I will eat my television set if Jessica Simpson doesn't find some way to make an appearance on the show. I'm serious. I really will, you can hold me to that.

- Wade Phillips with that "I know for a fact that even though I was just hired, and went 13-3, and won the division in my first year here, this is almost assuredly my last year here" look on his face throughout training camp. Also, look for the Wade Phillips dirty looks that are constantly shot at coach-in-waiting Jason Garrett. Should make for some good awkwardness.

Plus, lets face it, its the Cowboys, so you know its going to be interesting. Whether they were selling pot by the truckload, or blowing lines with strippers at houses in plain view of training camp, or banging blond pop bimbos, this team has always found a way to be intriguing. Its going to be great!
