I get it. It’s week 12 and you’re on the cusp in most of your leagues. You want to believe in something, anything that will get you through to the end. That one player that will push you over the edge so you can have your A Winner Is You moment and in many ways, Bryce Brown could and should be that guy. Despite the two fumbles on the night, Brown finished with almost 190 yards on 23 touches to go with two scores. That’s typically not a guy you throw back into the FA pool, regardless of how cake the matchup was. Yes, Carolina gives up the 10th most points to opposing fantasy running backs but the ‘real numbers’ say they’re more middle of the road in terms of opposing ‘real’ RB stats than anything else. With that all said, there are factors at play here. Namely, one factor and his name is LeSean McCoy. You know, the first round fantasy pick that wasn’t playing tonight who gave Bryce his time to shine and who’s signed to a reasonable contract through 2018. To further sque
BEST OF MAXIM
For the first time since 1994, the Philadelphia Eagles have lost seven straight games. This loss came at the hands of Cam Newton and the 3-8 Carolina Panthers by a score of 30-22. The saddest part about this game was that many of the talking heads on Philadelphia radio stations were saying on the post-game shows that at least this game was competitive. The Eagles have truly hit rock...
His name is Brown. That’s what they call him. Image via the Philadelphia Eagles.
The words are more difficult to come by with each loss. What more is there to say? The nightmare that is the 2012 season for the Philadelphia Eagles continues.
In a season with not much positivity, I can’t bear to write another somber account of yet another Eagles loss. At least not at the moment...

It was the best and the worst of times for rookie running back Bryce Brown.
Brown made his first career start tonight. He enjoyed a career night, running for 178 yards and two touchdowns. On a night where top receiver DeSean Jackson...
With most playoffs beginning this week or the next, your week 13 fantasy football picks could be key. Bryce Brown, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: His 178-yard, two-touchdown debut was magic for several owners who needed a Monday night miracle, but take note that Brown’s role will be reduced once LeSean McCoy returns from a concussion suffered…
PHILADELPHIA -- The Carolina Panthers struck for two long touchdown passes in the first half, and their defense came up with a crucial fourth-down stop in the fourth quarter of a 30-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field. The Panthers (3-8) won despite a big day by Eagles rookie running back Bryce Brown, who rushed for 178 yards. However...
For many of us life is about to become a little bittersweet. The regular season of fantasy football is about to come to an end for a lot of us. Now, there is a portion that have playoff spots locked up and are just biding their time till the post-season. While others are completely out of it and are just looking to wreck our friends (or enemies) seasons. However, there is a huge...
It was remarkably quiet at the Linc last night...almost serene. Maybe the brisk temperature (36 F.) kept Iggles fans' frustrations in check. Or maybe the folks who did show up for the game ( 70% capacity) were just being respectful. After all, they were witnessing the death of the Andy Reid era in Philly.
The only good thing about the eery funeral parlor atmosphere at the...
Weak effort, weaker team
> DeSean Jackson bettered his last game on the first play, which didn't get a first down> Bryce Brown kept the crowd from booing for the first minute of play, which makes him this year's MVP> Jeremy Maclin bettered his last game, yada yada yada> Brent Celek held on after contact and celebrated like he had never done that before, which...
Week 12 is in the books. Thankfully is was a bit more predictable than what week 11 was. With my prediction mojo back on track, I’m happy to give you my top 5 fantasy RB’s of week 13

The only reason I’d be hesitant to start Charles this week is because of the inconsistency of carries he’s given. When he does...
Fantasy Football week 13 presents some interesting pickups on the waiver wire. Injuries and a hot hand heat up the wire this week with a handful of players that could actually make a big difference to your lineup if you need to fill some holes en route to the championship.
