PLAYERS: Peyton Manning
TEAMS: Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos need to protect Peyton Manning at all cost today… The Denver Broncos may be facing a team that is only 1-9, the Chiefs defense is absolutely crazy when it comes to putting pressure on the opposing teams quarterback. The Chiefs defense is responsible for knocking Ben Roethlisberger out for at least 4 games. Peyton Manning can’t afford to take the kind of hits the Chiefs laid on the Steelers. The Chiefs have nothing to lose in this game against the Broncos. Denver needs to protect Manning at all cost. The Broncos have a chance to make it to the play-offs, that is if Manning stays healthy. Denver comes into the game against the Chiefs at 7-3 on the season. The Broncos need their star quarterback, if the Chiefs defense plays the same style of defense they played against the Steelrs, it could be a very long day for the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Manning stays healthy and the Broncos can win today, they have a very good shot at making it deep into the play-offs this season...

Jamaal Charles asks Peyton Manning for his autograph (VIDEO)

KCTV5 After yesterday’s loss to the Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles couldn’t help but ask for Peyton Manning’s autograph after the game. Some people might have a problem with Charles asking Manning for his autograph, but I don’t. I’d probably do the same thing. It’s a sign of respect for one of the NFL’s all-time greats. var _CI = _CI ||...

Chiefs find no silver linings in loss to Broncos

KANSAS CITY, Mo. There was a time, much earlier in this lost Chiefs season, when a tightly contested, narrow loss at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos would have been inspiring. Not any more. Not really. The Chiefs hung around with Manning and the Broncos most of Sunday afternoon, playing ultra-conservative and mistake free, but ultimately fell, 17-9. The loss...

Broncos’ offense has no trouble scoring points

(Photo by Justin Edmonds/Getty Images) After ranking 23rd overall in 2011, the Denver Broncos offense has turned things around this season. Last season, the Broncos ranked 25-of-32 among teams in points scored (309) and scored 30 points in a game on just two occasions. Needless to say, the Broncos have made great improvements in 2012. This season, the Broncos have scored 30 points...

Charles & Bowe ran down Peyton Manning for autographs after defeat.

NFL division rivalries are the fabric of the league. The fans of the teams associated with the rivalries share a deeply rooted disgust with the opponents with their team of choice and that emotion is one of the league’s greatest selling points. It’s understandable that Kansas City Chiefs fans are really upset with Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe at the moment. Please Click...

New England Patriots: Five Reasons They Will Go To The Super Bowl

The New England Patriots didn't start the 2012 season with much of a bang. For many, losses to the Ravens, Cardinals, and Seahawks looked to show the weaknesses of a team on its way down in the power rankings. To make matters worse, the defense appeared just as suspect as 2011, casting more doubt on their ability to compete against the best teams in the AFC. With Peyton Manning...

Dwayne Bowe Ineffective vs. Denver

Kansas City wideout Dwayne Bowe saw 12 targets Sunday but had just four receptions for 41 yards.Fantasy Spin:Bowe had to catch passes from Brady Quinn while watching Peyton Manning sling the ball to Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. How cruel. He should be parked on fantasy benches.

Denver Broncos: The Real Deal or Fool’s Gold?

One of my biggest pet peeves in the NFL is when the pundits knock a team down that has a good record and claims that they “haven’t played anybody.” That can ring true for a good month in the early goings of any given NFL season, but when you’re past the halfway point, well it’s like Bill Parcells used to say; You are what your record says you are. Being a supporter of the...
