Another awesome Packer Insider post from - Jeff Gonring Our defense is just getting beaten up week after week. We’re heading into a tough game against the returning Super Bowl champs, The Baltimore Ravens; we have our work cut out for us. Ray Rice has been a quiet one this year, but lately he has shown us all what we’ve known he’s capable of, which is being an all-star running back. With Clay Matthews out, he will be looking to show people he’s not done yet. Other than Rice and Flacco, the Ravens don’t have a whole lot of weapons on offense. Our secondary is still over-ridden with injuries between a limited Casey Hayward and Jarrett Bush. Their receivers will hope to have some free space as well. Our Linebacker set will be limited with Brad Jones and Robert Francois out so the Ravens will look to get the running game going early and strong. Currently, our two biggest threats in the passing offense will be Jacoby Jones (if he plays) and Torrey Smit...

Baltimore Ravens: Week 6 preview

The Baltimore Ravens (3-2) are set to take on the Green Bay Packers (2-2) on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. The game will be televised on FOX at 1:00pm EST. The Ravens are looking to improve to 4-2 and hopefully pull away from the tight race in the AFC North with a win. But achieving that goal could be difficult against a team like the Packers. The Ravens...

Bernard Pierce Limited Thursday

Ravens backup running back Bernard Pierce (thigh) was limited in practice Thursday but he's expected to play Sunday against the Packers.Fantasy Spin:Pierce had 46 yards on 11 carries while Ray Rice saw 33 touches in Week 5 against the Dolphins. Fantasy owners should hold him in case Rice suffers another injury but he shouldn't be started.

Tucker back in groove kicking field goals

Will kicker Justin Tucker be perfect on field goals the rest of the season? One of Tucker’s goals this season was to be perfect on field goal attempts. That lofty ambition ended in Week 2 when Tucker uncharacteristically missed two field goal attempts against the Browns. However Tucker has made nine straight since then including four last weekend against the Dolphins. He is kicking...

Ravens’ Injury Report: Jacoby Jones, Brandon Stokley, Haloti Ngata

The Baltimore Ravens host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday and the deep fried cheese curds will be in abundance so who is out and who is in? Find out, in your Baltimore Ravens Week 6 injury report. The most notable on this week’s report is wide receiver/kick returner Jacoby Jones (knee) listed as questionable.  Jones is coming back from a sprained medial collateral ligament and...

Ravens plan is for Eugene Monroe to start at left tackle

Bryant McKinnie reportedly OK with demotion. With recently acquired left tackle Eugene Monroe getting a full week of practice under his belt all signs point to the former Jacksonville first-round pick earning a start Sunday against Green Bay. "I would anticipate that he'll play quite a bit — possibly start" coach John Harbaugh told reporters Friday. "You might...

Key players: Ravens vs. Packers

Jimmy Smith No one is talking about Smith's importance in this game. In fact, Smith might be the most important player on the Ravens defense this week.Ever since being drafted in the first round in 2011, Smith has shown flashes of brilliance and is playing the best football of his career in 2013. But Smith has always struggled defending double moves and back shoulder fades. In...

There's an intriguing AFC-NFC clash this Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens host the Green Bay Packers.  What can we expect from this matchup? Packers are 3-point favorites against Ravens...

I'm not too surprised that the Pack is favored by Vegas as a visitor going into M&T Bank Stadium, considering that many bettors will take Baltimore and the points. That should mean a lot of extra action in terms of gambling volume on this game...which of course means lots of extra commission income for the sports casinos. The fact is, since John Harbaugh took over the...

PackersTalk.com Game Predictions: Packers at Ravens

Cory Jennerjohn (@coryjennerjohn) I know Joe Flacco got himself a Super Bowl win last season, but I still don’t respect him as a passer. Added to that is Ray Rice’s bad hip and the Ravens will need to get creative just to keep drives alive. Look for Jermichael Finley to get behind a collection of linebackers that is very good at rushing the passer but poor at pass coverage. Packers...
