Found June 13, 2013 on Patriots Life:
The Patriots had high hopes for Ras-I Dowling. Enough confidence to select him with the 33rd pick in the 2011 draft. The move was a slight head-scratcher at the time (as we have grown accustom to), but nonetheless he was pegged to be a fixture in the secondary going forward. Since then, Dowling has played in exactly two regular season games, recording a career total of ten tackles and zero interceptions. He has been plagued by hip injuries which landed him on season ending injured reserve two games into the 2011 season, and before the start of the 2012 regular season. Ras-I hasn't had much to cheer about during his time in New England Obviously, he has been a disappointment, at best, and we really have no idea what he is capable of. He had an impressive career at Virginia and was one of the better defensive backs in the ACC for the duration of his time there. But thus far his NFL career has remained on the sidelines. With a pass defense that struggled immensely last season...

Tebow benefactor of odd media rule?

Because has been designated as a "star" by the Patriots, an NFL rule means that Tim Tebow is obligated to speak with the media only once per week.

Kraft spoke to crowd at Carnegie Hall’s Medal of Excellence gala at the Waldorf-Astoria, and informed them that Putin stole is 2005 Super Bowl ring, priced at nearly $25,000. Tim Tebow No. 5 Patriots Jersey Available for $99 Online (Photo)

Patriots fans can own a Tim Tebow game jersey even though there’s a chance he may never own one himself. Tebow, who was signed by the Pats earlier this week to a two-year, league minimum deal, is expected to take No. 5 for the Pats, as fellow quarterback Ryan Mallett wears No. 15, Tebow’s number with the Jets, Broncos and Florida Gators. Check out his jersey below, available...

Adrian Wilson Says He’s Leaning on Devin McCourty to Pick Up Patriots’ Defense

Many of Adrian Wilson‘s teammates have praised the veteran safety for his work ethic and leadership skills out on the field. It’s easy to see why — Wilson takes football very seriously. Wilson may lead by example, but he’s also trying to pick up the intricacies of the Patriots’ defense from his teammates. “I think it’s a good mix [of players],” Wilson said. “Guys...

Tim Tebow and Tom Brady Like Zoolander and Hansel?

As much as we all want Tom Brady and Tim Tebow to completely hate each other, that’s just not the case in New England. Tom Brady could care less who backs him up, and the Patriots are probably the only team equipped to handle Tebowmania. So unfortunately a la Zoolander, we won’t be seeing Brady and Tebow in a walk off. Thanks to Sportnation for the great GIF. The Greatest Bill...

Time For The Tim Tebow/New England Patriots Marketing Juggernaut!

Tim Tebow is one of those guys people seem to either love or hate. Thankfully for all the charity work he does the general sentiment leans more towards love than hate--even though the love affair that the media has with him nearly cost him his career. While the media blitz may be annoying for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and the rest of the Patriots it is a boon to the...

Robert Kraft gives the media what it wants

The Patriot way only involves the members of the team that call the locker room home, apparently. While Bill Belichick and his minions have essentially stifled the media with quick, nondescript answers about the acquisition of Tim Tebow to the New England Patriots, team owner Robert Kraft gave them exactly what they were looking for. While speaking at a charity event honoring his...

Tebow Circus? Not In The Patriots' House.

Most people know by now I'm a believer of Tim Tebow, and as much as the haters wanted to think we have seen the end of Tebow, even they had to know he would resurface on an NFL roster eventually. That team just happens to be the New England Patriots, who signed Tebow to a two-year deal on Tuesday. We can talk about the obvious, such as the fact the Patriots didn't sign Tebow...

Final minicamp practice cancelled--ESPN Boston

Final minicamp practice cancelled--ESPN Boston: Similar to last year, coach Bill Belichick has cancelled the Patriots’ final mandatory minicamp practice. This is likely a result of Belichick feeling that all the necessary work has been completed.

Jimmy Fallon resurrects ‘Tebowie’ after Patriots sign Tebow

You may remember Jimmy Fallon’s awesome ‘Tebowie’ (Tim Tebow + David Bowie) cover of “Space Oddity” last January during the Broncos’ unlikely playoff run. Well, with the news of Tebow signing with the Patriots this week, Fallon decided it was time to resurrect ‘Tebowie’ for another fantastic performance, this time a new version of Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.” The...

Blame Geno Smith for Tebow to the Patriots

Well, that was good for a laugh. The fact that the New England Patriots signed former Jets quarterback Tim Tebow opened a new round of (well-deserved) derision at the Jets front office. The sports media trolls for sound bites of Tebow bitterness, or hints of Patriots strategy, good luck with that one. They are missing the point. Bill Belichick is the...

Tim Tebow’s Roster Spot No Guarantee as Other Patriots Are More Deserving (Podcast)

Tim Tebow has arrived in New England. As if the entire sports world hadn’t noticed. In New York, Tebow’s arrival meant controversy and chaos, but the Patriots, and Bill Belichick‘s mundane style, tamed that beast before it was even unleashed from its cage. Now, the biggest question for the cult hero is whether he can actually play. Tebow looked pretty raw during his first few...
